Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the Live Translate Voice application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Live Translate Voice ("we," "us," or "our").

Live Translate Voice is a mobile application that provides real-time, two-way voice translation between 60+ languages. The App uses AI-powered speech recognition and translation technology to:

• Transcribe spoken speech in real time
• Automatically detect which language is being spoken
• Translate conversations between two selected languages instantly
• Read translations aloud using text-to-speech technology

Live Translate Voice offers an auto-renewable subscription to unlock premium features:

• Live Translate Voice Weekly — $7.99 per week, billed weekly

Free Trial

New subscribers may be eligible for a 3-day free trial. At the end of the free trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid weekly subscription at $7.99 per week unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.

Billing & Auto-Renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial, if applicable). The subscription automatically renews each week at $7.99 unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

Managing & Cancelling Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain access until that period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited once you purchase a subscription.

Policies

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Please also review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect and use your data.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Record, store, or distribute translated conversations without the consent of all parties involved
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its underlying technology
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or connected services
• Use the App to transmit harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive content
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App

All content, features, functionality, design elements, and technology in the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, software, and underlying code — are owned by Live Translate Voice or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

The App processes voice audio in real time for transcription and translation. Important details regarding voice data:

• Audio is streamed to our speech recognition provider (Soniox) via secure WebSocket connections for real-time processing
• Audio data is processed transiently and is not permanently stored on our servers after the translation session ends
• Text-to-speech audio is generated via Google Cloud Text-to-Speech and delivered to your device in real time
• We do not use your voice data to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the translation service

The App relies on third-party services to deliver its core functionality:

• Soniox — for real-time speech-to-text and translation
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — for reading translations aloud

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for any interruptions or limitations caused by third-party services.

While we strive to provide high-quality translations, AI-powered translation technology is not perfect. Translations may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. The App should not be relied upon as the sole means of communication in situations where accuracy is critical, including but not limited to medical diagnoses, legal proceedings, emergency services, or financial transactions.

You acknowledge that translations are provided "as is" and that we make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any translation.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App. Service may be affected by maintenance, updates, network issues, or factors beyond our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Live Translate Voice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill — arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in translations
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any third-party conduct or content related to the App

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Live Translate Voice, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason — including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Live Translate Voice operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
